The table contains data on the politician's family relationships, primarily parents. The table in no way purports to be complete.

The Storting's data service is the principal source of updates.

The variables are as follows:

Personlig identifiseringsnummer (person)

Main index. Continuous internal identifier from the table i_politikere. Is mandatory and unique. Example: Tina Bru is 31610.

Father's first name (far_fornavn)

Father's first and middle names.

Father's family name (far_etternavn)

Father's family name.

Father's birth year (far_fødselsår)

Father's year of birth.

Father's death year (far_dødsår)

Father's year of death.

Father's occupation (far_yrke)

Father's occupation.

Father's occupation during upbringing (far_yrke_oppvekst)

Father's occupation during most of the politician's upbringing.

Father self-employed during upbringing (far_selvstendig_oppvekst)

Is 1 if the father was self-employed during most of the politician's upbringing, 0 if not.
