Candidates for parliamentary elections (lis_stortingsvalg_kandidater)

The table contains electoral lists for the parliamentary elections. The list candidates are identified as they appear on the election lists. They are not linked to other personal data in the database.

Identification number for the list (id_liste)

Consecutive numerical identifier for this list, this election year in this electoral district. This information, together with a reference to the party name and any list association, can be obtained from the table lis_stortingsvalg_listenavn.

Number (nummer)

The candidate's number in the order on the electoral list.

Name (navn)

The candidate's name as it appears on the electoral list. For candidates who have demanded their name removed from the electoral list archive, the name has been replaced by 'NN'.

Profession (stilling)

The profession description to the extent that it appears on the electoral list.

Residence (bosted)

Residence to the extent that it appears on the electoral list.

Sex (kjønn)

Sex if available. Male=1, female=2.

Born (født)

Date of birth if available. This is never stated on the election list, but appears in the lists of the Norwegian Electoral Directorate, published on valg.no.

Fødselsår (fødselsår)

The year of birth to the extent that it appears on the electoral list.

Age (alder)

The age to the extent that it appears on the electoral list.
