If you need a custom data extraction from PolSys, please submit a request. Any costs will depend on the complexity of the extraction.
Who Can Request Data?
This service is available to researchers, students, the media, public-sector organizations, and others who require data that is not directly accessible through the website's download features.
What Should the Request Include?
To ensure fast and accurate processing, please provide the following information in your request:
- Purpose of the data extraction
- Datasets/archives and specific tables you need (e.g., the Politician Archive, Party Document Archive, Committee Remarks Archive)
- Time period or year(s)
- Variables/fields required
- Preferred format (CSV, Excel, JSON, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
Processing Time and Cost
- Processing time: The usual processing time will depend on the scope of the request. As a general estimate, simple extractions may take a few working days, while larger or more complex extractions may take longer.
- Cost: Any applicable costs will be calculated based on the complexity of the extraction and the required workload.
