Electoral District Codes (i_valgdistriktskoder)

Indicates the electoral districts for parliamentary elections through time.

Electoral district code (valgdistriktskode)

Indicates electoral district according to existing numbering in Polsys. Example: 16013 indicates 3dje kreds, Baklandet, valid period 56-68. If the electoral district corresponds to a county, the electoral district code is county number * 1000 + 900.

The electoral district code is not unique, but must be seen in the context of the parliamentary periods.

Electoral district name (valgdistriktsnavn)

The name of the electoral district. Often the name has varied throughout history, for example 20900 ‘Finmarkens Amt’, ‘Finmark fylke’, and ‘Finnmark fylke’.

From period (fra_periode)

First parliamentary term with this combination of code and name.

To period (til_periode)

Last parliamentary term with this combination of code and name. Existing electoral districts have the value 9999.
