Variable Description

Abstract

The Archive of Non-Profit Organisations contains information from an electronic survey conducted during the spring/summer of 2005. Several of the variables in the older Archive of Non-Profit Organisations are updated, but also information on other areas are gathered as well. The data base consists of approximately 200 variables that cover:

organizational structures and ressources (e.g. membership, employees, profits etc.)
societal interfaces (e.g. governmental liaisons, membership in committees ang hearings etc.)
organizational profiles (e.g. name of organization, founding year, address etc.)

The data are suitable for statistical analysis.
